Hidden Falls Ranch
Texas Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting
Hidden Falls Ranch is located 35 miles west of Austin on the beautiful shores of Lake Travis in the center of the Texas Hill Country. Family owned and operated since 1991, farming, ranching, and hunting are our way of life. The ranch is covered with trees, including live oaks, post oaks, pecan, cedar, and white brush, all of which provide a quality habitat for wildlife. There are rolling hills, deep canyons, and streams which offer exceptional settings for hunting and viewing wildlife.
The ranch was named after the breathtaking waterfall produced by Hickory Creek which flows through the ranch down to the shores of Lake Travis. Two dams constructed along the creek have created large bodies of water which are stocked with black bass and catfish. Catch and release fishing is available in between hunts.
Hidden Falls Ranch has been under an intense management program since 1992. In 2003, we made the decision to put up a game fence to help in our management practices and also introduced South Texas genetics into the ranch. Since that time, our deer herd has been able to thrive to reach their highest potential and the ranch now produces deer in excess of 200”.
